Pool demolition is the process by which we can get rid of the unwanted swimming pools. But the question here is why to get rid of our most cherished luxury when we have one at home. There could be many reasons for the decision. Many a time the reason is the pool causing us problems more than the luxury and thus we finally have to decide to pull it off. Some of the houses contain very old pools, even 30 to forty year old, the swimming pools that were built in the houses were not meant to serve that long and now that you have bought the house you want to get rid of it.
The next reason why you have to decide to get the pool removed is its bad condition. Sometimes the pools are constructed by the untrained people who have created so many problems in construction that you have to decide to get rid of it rather than trying to put the things right. In many cases the drainage system is not proper, or the pool is too leaky that it removes more water than it can actually take up or the plaster has become too flaky that it can easily be removed by hand. This means that there can be several of problems that may lead to the decision of pool removal

Many people who are living in the cold areas have inbuilt pools in their houses. These pools remain frozen all throughout the chilly season and are no way useable to the family. Also they serve to block a lot of space that could have otherwise been used for a better reason. Not only that these pools serve to make the temperature colder in the house because of frozen water. The drainage systems in these areas may also burst due to the frozen ice. Therefore instead of fighting so many problems for a useless pool many people would surrender to getting it demolished.
Many pools also get their pool demolished because the maintenance of the pool is much higher than the benefit it is giving them. Of course the maintenance would require adequate drainage, fencing, accessories and chemical disinfection. All these things mean a lot of extra expenditure which people are not willing to pay. Also sometimes when people want to sell out their house and it has a bad pool, it is considered that repairing the pool will add much little to cost of real estate than the money that will be spent on repair so the answer to the question is getting the pool removed. In houses where there are small children, swimming pools pose a lot of security hazard because children are fond of sneaking out in the water whenever they get a chance. So the parents may sometimes decide against the pool instead of affording a security hazard for their children. Demolition may also be sometimes considered to change the landscape or to get an extra space for renovation purposes.
